The situation

Successful throughout Europe, German mainframe tuning software startup, TrilogExpert was trying to move into the US market. Due to some copyright issues, they were unable to use their name in the States and were forced to try to open this market with virtually no brand name recognition.

The solution

Our partners at Blanc and Otus Public Relations identified a series of potential opportunities for byline articles that would showcase AQM Solutions (as they are called in the states) as leaders in the field. HGI picked the CTO’s brain and came up with a series of articles to promote the company’s core value proposition, proactive maintenance of mainframes.

The results

The articles ran in several key trade publications to great interest, and were repurposed for use on the web, as collateral for the company. AQM’s CTO was invited to meet with several analysts and to speak at a variety of industry conferences and trade shows. They were also used as marketing assets by Computer Associates that appeared in email and newsletter campaigns when the two companies signed a partnership agreement.
